ACTIVITIES
The Plant at Kyle was designed for indoor/outdoor living, with large and small porch areas. A covered swimming pool provides a refreshing focus during the warmer months. Wild animals that have been sighted on the land include gray foxes, deer, wild turkeys, armadillos, road runners, and buzzards. We manage the property as a wildlife habitat with a water trough, butterfly garden, and purple Martin nesting array. Guided nature walks of the property, guided telescopic viewing of astronomical objects (aka a “star party”), and visits to local natural landmarks can be arranged.
The Plant at Kyle is located near many picturesque towns and country roads which span the Hill Country, and 10 miles from I-35, with highway access to Austin, San Antonio, and beyond. There is a thriving local food scene in and around Austin, including farmers markets and restaurants.
The Map below display the approximate (and not exact) general location of The Plant.
